1. Information we collect

• Information you provide: only what you send us — e.g. your name, email address and message content when you contact us at contact@ringsizefinderonline.com or via the contact form.
• Automatically collected: basic, aggregated technical data such as pages visited, device type, browser type and approximate region, used solely for security and understanding site usage.
• What we do NOT collect: no accounts, no passwords, no payment details, no finger photos and no health data. On-screen measurements happen locally in your browser and are never uploaded.

2. How we use information

• Operate, maintain and improve the sizing tools and content.
• Respond to your messages and support requests.
• Detect abuse, protect site security and prevent spam.
• Understand aggregate usage (e.g. which tools are popular) to prioritise improvements.

We do not use your data for behavioural advertising and we do not sell or rent personal information.

3. Cookies & local storage

We keep this minimal:

• Theme preference (rsc_theme) stored in your browser's local storage so dark/light mode persists. No tracking involved.
• Measurement/calibration values may be kept in your browser session while you use the tools. They stay on your device.
• If we enable privacy-respecting analytics or advertising in future, this policy will be updated and, where required, consent will be requested first.

4. Third-party services

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and is served over standard web hosting infrastructure, which may process IP addresses to deliver pages securely. If you email us, your message is handled by our email provider solely to deliver and store correspondence. We do not embed social-media trackers or cross-site advertising profiles.

5. Data retention

Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and meet legal obligations, after which they are deleted or archived securely. Browser-stored preferences remain until you clear them; you can remove them anytime via your browser settings.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location (including the EU/UK under GDPR and California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any right, email contact@ringsizefinderonline.com with the subject "Privacy request". We respond within 30 days (sooner where the law requires).

7. Children

Our tools are general-audience reference tools and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has contacted us with personal data, email us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy when features or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised policy.
